Anadolu Insurance was founded on April 1, 1925, with the initiative of Gazi Mustafa Kemal, under the leadership of the first national bank, Türkiye İş Bankası. Mavi Sigorta, which started the package insurance system in Turkey and provided 17 different assurances together, offered its policies for the first time in 1983. A year later, he introduced the “Insurance of the Future”, the most comprehensive life policy ever applied to Turkish conditions. In 1986, "Electronic Device Insurance", a new branch in Turkish insurance, was launched for the first time within Anadolu Sigorta.

Anadolu Insurance transferred the life branch to Anadolu Hayat Insurance Company, which was established in accordance with the law in 1991. The company provided administrative and technical support to Günay Anadolu Insurance, which was established and started operations in Azerbaijan in 1993, and became the first Turkish Insurance company to establish a company abroad. It produced policies in the field of Legal Protection Insurance, which was implemented for the first time in Turkey in 1996. Aiming to make the most of IT opportunities, Anadolu Insurance implemented the "Restructuring Project" in 1997.
